Kildare Kendo Club was established in 2009 to bring the Japanese martial art of Kendo to Kildare.
Our members practice every week in Nass. We have senior instructors from Dublin Kendo Kobukai instructing
us and an agreement that allows all Kildare members to train with Dublin Kendo during their training times.
Kildare Kendo Club's philosophy is to practice Kendo in a very fun, respectful and traditional manner.
Just like County Kildare we have chosen the motto "Meanma agus Misneach" or Spirit and Courage.
We welcome beginners every week and our classes are open to everyone, both adults and children.
During the course you will learn how to behave and how to make proper cuts. We will build your confidence,
progressing towards wearing armor. Kildare Kendo Club will provide you with all the equipment and instruction
that you need to begin practicing Kendo.
